Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is situated on Marylebone Road, Westminster. Established in 1835 by the famous French sculptor Marie Tussaud, the museum has grown to be a major London tourist attraction. The London Planetarium can also be found here.
Wax figures in the museum include historical, royal figures, film and sports stars as well as some more infamous characters. Some wax figures to be seen include Adolf Hitler, Shakespeare, The Beatles, The Queen Mother and Justin Timberlake, to name but a few.
Madame Tussauds has now expanded to other cities around the world such as Amsterdam, L.A. New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
As well as the wax figures there are loads of interactive attractions here too. Fancy scoring the a winning goal for England under the watchful eye of the England football manager or perhaps you'd like to sing and dance with Beyonce, Britney and Kylie. You can also visit the incredibly popular and gory Chamber of Horrors, an attraction of the museum definitely not to be missed!
