Millennium Dome

The Millennium Dome is a large dome shaped building in Greenwich, southeast London. The Dome was constructed initially to hold a major exhibition to celebrate the beginning of the 3rd millennium.

The Dome was redeveloped and reopened to the public in 2007. Its official name is now the ‘The O2’. The building now houses an area known as The O2 area and an entertainment avenue which consists of smaller arenas and an 11 screen movie complex, which houses the biggest screen in London. The O2 dome is now one of the main venues in London for major music and sporting events.

The nearest underground station is North Greenwich (Jubilee Line), there are many bus routes to the dome, M2, M11, 108, 188, 422, 472. There is also a car parking facilities with 2200 spaces, it is necessary to pre-book you space.
